Being a sense shop volunteer is a great way meet people, boost confidence and gain valuable retail experience.

Office administration is a vital operation in a busy office.  As an Office Administrator you will be working alongside our Community Engagement Managers to provide general support and administrative back up for our campaigns and events. 

You may be counting money, preparing mailings or keeping our records up to date.  By keeping on top of the office admin, you are helping our busy Community team  to carry on recruiting new supporters and raise money.

What we need you to do:

- Photocopying and filing, preparing day-to-day post for mailing.

- Keep resources organised and in stock.

- Prepare resources.

- Count donations from public collections and community events.

- Maintain records on a database, scan documents and issue correspondence

East Shropshire Talking Newspaper For The Blind (ESTN) is based in Telford and provides a FREE weekly USB memory stick of local news and features including items from the local press and other publications, such as Shropshire Magazine and Info sound, alongside items produced in-house by the ESTN team; covering a wide range of subjects and matters of interest.

We are staffed entirely by volunteers, and operate solely via voluntary donations from both individuals and organisations, for example Local Councils and Social organisations. We receive no government or private funding as a matter of course.

We are looking for Volunteer Copying Team (Cover)

Role:

To make and check the appropriate number of copies of the weekly Master Memory Stick, ready for dispatch by the Packing team.

(Currently 160 copies approx)

8.30am - 10.00am

To cover 1 x Set Week in the Month + Other Occasional Holiday/Sickness Cover

We are looking for an exercise instructor to run a taster session for our residents to encourage exercise and fitness for improved health and wellbeing.

We would like to run taster sessions in Yoga, Zumba, Martial Arts etc.
