Opportunity Description
Being a Day Centre Volunteer puts you right at the heart of our work. You will interact with older people and help to make their time with us feel extra special. You will help our clients to feel comfortable, supported and add the magic 'spark' that makes our support so personal.
You'll help us to run a wide range of fun, safe and engaging activities such as arts & crafts and games, in addition to serving tea, coffee and refreshments.

Minibus escort duties:
Travel on the minibus and escort members from their homes to and from the day centre, giving assistance when required.

Requirements
No prior experience is required - full training given. Volunteers will also need to attend a short training session and provide references.
It would be beneficial if you had your own transport available (not for transporting people other than yourself) but not essential.
More Info
You will require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which we will organise for you. Our group takes place every Wednesday at the Park Lane Centre, Woodside 9:15am -1:45pm. You will need to be available during this time each week.
