Fundraising Bid Writer Volunteer Role
Suitable for -
To research, compile, edit and write, proofread and send applications to the Managing Director.
To compile and maintain a database of national and local donor organisations.
To liaise with management regarding bid applications
To write, edit, proofread and send funding proposals to Managing Director
To ensure that the layout of bid documents is correct and to a high standard
Establish and achieve bid application deadlines
Research and develop funding opportunities
IT literacy (Microsoft Office, internet & databases).
Experience in writing funding applications
Excellent written communication skills
Excellent organisational abilities
An ability to work sensitively and have a commitment to equal opportunities, confidentiality and data protection.
A knowledge of the charity sector and funding within it.
Training, where specifically required for the role, will be provided.
