Our Volunteer Champion Team Leaders support local volunteer groups by leading a team of others that provide recruitment, induction and recognition support to wider volunteer groups and teams.
What you can expect to be doing
Recruiting the Volunteer Champions Team of volunteers.
Allocating tasks and activities to other members of the volunteer champion’s team. Identifying ways to involve volunteers.
Providing support, encouragement, and leadership.
Promoting a culture of volunteering best practice.
Encouraging volunteer feedback.
Our Volunteer Champion Team Leaders usually spend 3 to 4 hours per week in this role, which is flexible and can be shared by more than one volunteer if needed.
