The Chairperson

Teagues Bridge Pre-school is a small charity run setting who are looking for a chairperson to become part of our committee and overlook the running of the preschool as per OFSTED requirements

You will need to:

Liase with the management
Organise and hold meetings with the committee
Delegate tasks to the rest of the committee
Support the mamanger in the designated safeguarding lead
Be able to attend training in Safe Guarding meetings
Fundraising

A volunteer opportunity for a chairperson.  The role also involves organising activities, guest speakers and trips out with the group's participants (working alongside the treasurer)

Our members are men and women of all ages who are keen to use their skills and resources to help other people.

Couples are welcomed and Rotary offers a great way to make new friends and enjoy social activities while helping others.

By joining us in Rotary you can help others in communities near and far. Wherever you live, we would be delighted to welcome you to the Rotary Club of Ironbridge.

Come along to one of our meetings at The Valley Hotel in Ironbridge to see what we do. We would be delighted to welcome you as our guest. At worst, you will meet some friendly people and enjoy a pleasant meal. More likely, it will be the first step towards an enjoyable and rewarding future as part of a great club and inspirational organisation.

Snow Wardens are volunteers who play an active role in their community when the weather takes a turn for the worst.

They help clear side roads and pavements of snow and ice in their local area.  This will not only help your neighbours but also our more vulnerable residents who can't help themselves.

How much time you put in is up to you - all we ask is that you do as much as you can. Snow Wardens duties are seasonal and at times you will need to be reactive to the weather conditions.

What area you cover is up to you too. You can carry out your Snow Warden duties on your own street, housing estate or local area.
