Telford & Wrekin CVS are looking for value driven people to join our dynamic and diverse team of volunteers.

Wellbeing Café is a safe environment supporting people to receive information and advice in the community. Providing warm meals and drinks in a vibrant and relaxed setting in Madeley High Street.

The café is inclusive of all needs and actively seeks volunteers with all abilities. We are looking for new volunteers and offer an exciting opportunity to become a member of our friendly team.

We would like to hear from you if you;

There are 2 roles, front of house and the kitchen team.

Out of pocket expenses will be reimbursed.

Managing the Club’s income and expenditure in accordance with club rules.

Producing an end of year financial report at the AGM.

Regularly reporting back to the club committee on all financial matters.

Setting and monitoring of financial planning and forecast.

Ensure everyone handling money keeps proper records and documentation.

Arranging handover or succession planning for the position.

Ensure adequate financial systems and controls are in place.

Monitor the systems for bookkeeping, receipts payments and petty cash.

Are you interested in the development of Adult Social Care in Telford and Wrekin?

We are looking for volunteers to join our Making It Real Board, which gives local people a really important opportunity to have their say about social care services locally and to influence the way these services are developed.

Members of the board meet once a month for a couple of hours to have discussions and share their knowledge about adult social care, including the opportunity to:

- Provide feedback to decision makers

- Bring and share powerful stories and experiences

- Network in a positive way with other people who have an interest in social care

- Inform policies and influence local services

- Test the accuracy and readability of public documents before they are published

Do you want to help us deliver one of our big events for the Summer? Summer Fest 2024.

We are looking for volunteers who like to help out in the community. Whether it be a customer facing role such as meeting and greeting guests or helping us set up or take down our many stalls, events or activities.

We would love you to be a part of our event.

A volunteer briefing, when necessary, will be held before the event, either on the day or via a virtual meeting. Otherwise, information will be passed on via your group leader prior to the event.
