Volunteer Telford

Opportunity for volunteers to work with an already established team of volunteers and Parish Council members, to run the Donnington & Muxton Youth Council.  Role will involve helping to arrange and run activities for the young people, attend team meetings and help with fund raising

The role involves visiting people, over 50, at home or meeting with them at another location, to provide company and help for them to build confidence in getting out and about.

We require volunteer van drivers, who can help deliver parcels to community centres around Telford in the morning.  And also empty supermarket donation points as required.

It would be great if you could be flexible to help with ad-hoc collections, from schools and business during peak times.

We work to collect the views, opinions, concerns, and recommendations of the entire cross-section of the Telford and Wrekin community – people of all ages, from all cultures and backgrounds, abilities, interests, employment status, patients, care home residents, carers, relatives, those cared for, and those who work or have worked in health and social care, and associated voluntary organisations.

We also have an active YOUTH network of volunteers and a club for those aged under 18.
