As a Veterinary Support Team Assistant at our Head Office you will be an integral part of the Veterinary Support team. On a daily basis you will be responsible for sending out materials and correspondence, filing and data entry.

As a Veterinary Support Team Assistant at our Head Office you will be an integral part of the Veterinary Support team. On a daily basis you will be responsible for sending out materials and correspondence, filing and data entry. You could also be asked to undertake other administrative tasks when required.

Requirements

In order to take on this voluntary role, you will have good literacy and numeracy skills; familiarity with Word and Excel would also be an advantage. You will be organised, reliable, and be able to work on your own initiative, as well as being able to listen and take direction from senior staff members. You must possess excellent communication skills, as you will be liaising with internal, and external, clients. Previous experience in an administrative role would be advantageous. Hours: Specific hours are by arrangement. Ideally one full day or two half days with the ability to be flexible when necessary. Our offices are open 9.00am-5.00pm Monday-Friday. All volunteer roles are subject to an informal interview and trial period. PDSA are happy to reimburse your out of pocket travel expenses in line with our volunteer expenses policy.
