Front of House & Administration Support Volunteer
Role Overview:
The Front of House & Administration Support role is key to creating a welcoming and well-organised environment at The Cavalier Centre.
This position involves being the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and volunteers, while also providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
Front of House Duties:
Welcome visitors, clients, and volunteers in a friendly and professional manner
Answer telephone and email enquiries, directing them appropriately
Manage bookings, appointments, and general enquiries
Maintain a tidy, organised, and welcoming reception area
Provide information about the Centre’s activities, programmes, and facilities
Administrative Support:
Assist with general office tasks including data entry, filing and record keeping
Support the coordination of schedules, bookings, and diaries
Help maintain accurate records for clients, volunteers and activities
Assist with preparing documents, communications and reports
Support event administration and coordination where required.
Location:
The Cavalier Centre, Much Wenlock, Shropshire.

Requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident using basic IT systems (e.g. email, spreadsheets, databases)
Ability to multitask and manage a varied workload
Previous experience in a front of house or administrative role is desirable but not essential.
